A motorcyclist was killed Friday evening in an accident involving two other vehicles.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, at about 6:10 PM Friday evening a motorcycle rider was speeding while traveling in the northbound lanes near Horizon Drive, and collided with the right side of a Lincoln Navigator. The biker then rebounded and struck the left side of a Ford F150 truck.
The truck then continued forward until it crashed into a wall. The motorcycle continued into the right shoulder of the road where the biker fell off the bike. The motorcycle continued to skid until it came to a stop and caught fire.
The biker died from his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was taken to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
