At around 7.00 a.m. on Monday morning, in a City of North Las Vegas, Zee James Davis, aged 42, was killed while riding his Kawasaki motorcycle.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Craig and Losee roads.
Davis was traveling west on Craig Road and lost control of his motorcycle. He then fell and slid into a City of North Las Vegas trailer pulled by a 48,000 pound truck traveling northbound on Losee Road.
Davis was taken to the University Medical Center where he died later.
During the police investigation, witnesses informed the police that the truck did have a green light when it went through the intersection.
The driver of the truck was aged 43 and he was not injured in the crash. Police do not believe alcohol or speed played a role in the crash.
